WHERE I COME FROM
As a Snoqualmie resident for close to 25 years, I've seen many changes within our city and the Snoqualmie Valley. I will continue to work to cultivate and preserve Snoqualmie’s uniqueness, natural beauty and promote environmental protection while planning for the economic health of our community and generating support for local businesses. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I bring a practical perspective that recognizes the importance of fiscal accountability, affordable housing, and community planning. Since being elected to the Snoqualmie City Council I have faithfully served the community, listening to concerns of residents and making decisions with the public's best interest in mind.
I've served as your City of Snoqualmie Council Member in Position #5 since 2023. I'm currently serving as a member of the Public Safety Committee and Parks/Public Works Committee. I'm liaison to Snoqualmie Valley Health (King County Public Hospital District #4) Board of Commissioners, Snoqualmie Days Committee, Historic Downtown Snoqualmie and Ridge Merchants Associations, Snoqualmie Arts Commission, Sound Cities Association/DOH Public Health Commission, Medic One EMS Advisory Taskforce and BLS Subcommittee Member since starting my term. And I've just been appointed a liaison to the Snoqualmie Valley Aquatics Committee.
For over 45 years, I've served in the fields of emergency medicine, veterinary medicine and firefighting before retiring. I've also served as a volunteer EMT for the Snoqualmie Fire Department for over 22 years. My dedication to our community runs deep and I bring a unique understanding from decades of service.
It would be my honor and privilege to receive your vote of support for re-election to the Snoqualmie City Council.
